It is understood that every dog at this event will at all times be in the care and control of the dog’s handler. I, the undersigned, agree to be fully responsible for the actions of my dog(s) while on the training session or event grounds. I understand that attendance at any function where dogs are present is not without risk to guests, my own dog or myself even if the dog is handled with the highest level of care. I agree to hold Minnesota Valley Schutzhund Verein (MVSV), as well as all their members, officers, directors and all property owners HARMLESS for any loss or injury which may have allegedly been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by any act of my dog(s) or to my dog(s) while on the event grounds. I hereby assume all responsibility and liability for such claims. I further relinquish all claims and agree to hold MVSV as well as all their members, officers, directors and property owners HARMLESS for loss or injury, which may have allegedly been caused directly or indirectly to my dog(s) or myself during participation in this event. I agree to hold HARMLESS MVSV, its members or agents for any act committed by this dog or any other dog in my possession.
NOW THEREFORE, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury, and/or property damage which I may have as a result of or arising from my participation in MVSV training sessions or events. This Release and Waiver is intended to, and shall operate to, discharge in advance the officers, sponsors, officials, land owners, and other participants from and against any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in this event or training session, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of any person or entity above mentioned.
I FURTHER STATE THAT, I am aware various breeds of dogs may be present at this training session or event; I am familiar with the nature of this training session or event; I am aware that injury and damage can occur during this training session or event, both to myself and any dog(s) I may have. Knowing the risks, I hereby agree to assume those risks and to release and hold HARMLESS all of the persons or entities mentioned above whom might otherwise be liable to me and assign for damages.
Photography and video is permitted at all MVSV-sponsored events open to the public, unless otherwise noted. Photographs, video or other recordings may not be made publicly available or used in other communications – including private websites, social networking communications or any other public media - without the express consent of all parties captured in the photo or recording.
I HAVE READ AND AM IN AGREEMENT WITH THE TERMS OF THIS RELEASE AND UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE I AM RELINQUISHING AND WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS I OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE.
